Hobby Boss 1/48 kit of the early Soviet KV2.This version was armed with only the 152mm howitzer.Later versions had the two maching guns added.

Thankfully for the Germans, this series was mechanical junk. The only way it could be destroyed in the early days was the 88mm,or shaped charges by the infantry

Looks great to me :D I doubt I shall buy this one since it was a terrible tank and ugly as well.

Thanks. It was terrible, but a shock to the 3rd Reich forces at first.

That's it, they finally brought up an anti-aircraft 88. That's how the Germans dealt with the heavily armored Matildas and French tanks too, that and Stukas. It was ridiculous how Hitler went to war with a puny 37mm tank gun! Except for the low-velocity 75s on the MK IV.

Well they had the PAK 38 50 MM anti tank gun as well which was decent but nog enough for the russian tanks.
